To train Nigerians to qualify as graduates, professionals, technicians and craftsmen in the field of engineering, geology, science and management in the oil and gas industry in Nigeria or abroad.

Vision

To serve not only as a vessel for the development of indigenous manpower and technology transfer/acquisition in the petoleum industry to make Nigeria a human resource center for the West African sub-region.
